Welcome! I started this blog to share my ideas and connect with other moms dealing with the same issues I do. We’ve all heard the saying that your thirties are the best age, and while that’s entirely true, those of us working at home with young kids know that this phase also comes with its own unique challenges. I’m a thirty-something “adult” dealing with the daily grind of parenthood. I’m a work-at-home mom of two kids- ages 8 and 3. For nearly a decade, I ran an Etsy shop and handmade business selling knits for babies and kids, but recently I walked away from that business in order to feel more fulfilled. I’m a huge advocate for natural living, and have recently decided to dive further into the world of essential oils. I’ve spent the last year learning everything I can about Young Living Essential Oils, and have even built it into my business. It’s become a passion of mine to share what I learn and help others start their journey to a more natural lifestyle. I’d love to help you, too! Another thing I absolutely love is planners. #nerdalert, I know. I discovered the world of paper planning 4 years ago when I realized I had too many commitments to keep up with. A year later, I bought my first Erin Condren Life Planner and realized there was a whole world out there of people like me. I now feel like I have found the ever-elusive “planner peace” with my A5 planner system and organizational printables. You can read more about that system right here!

How the Blog was Born
I’ve been an avid writer since the fourth grade, when my English teacher read my work and couldn’t stop gushing. Looking back, I’m sure she was just being encouraging, but back then, it made all the difference. I started writing in journals regularly, and as soon as I was old enough, joined my school’s newspaper and yearbook staff.
Since leaving school, I have written on two hobby blogs, and spent some time working as a freelance writer. After awhile, I started a handmade business creating knits, and really got involved. For 7 years, I focused on that business.
Still, I found myself thinking more and more about writing again. Every day, I found myself at home with a toddler, with so much I wante to say, and no one to listen. I decided to go for it, and the Angie Cruise Blog was born! It’s my passion project. My blood, sweat, and tears. It contains so much of me, and has taught me so much over the last year.
