Are you curious about Simply Earth essential oils? As an essential oil lover of 10+ years, I was, too! I’ve heard about them a few times, and had many people ask me what I thought about the company as a whole.
Finally, I decided it was time to take the leap and give them a try. As you know if you’ve been here before, I’ve made it one of my missions to explore different essential oil brands and give you the scoop.
So, here we are! Let’s jump in to this Simply Earth review and find out what they’re about.
A Little Bit About Simply Earth
This post contains affiliate links, which means I could earn a small commission based on your purchases. All thoughts and opinions in this review are entirely my own. To learn more, read my full disclosure here.
I’ve only been a customer of Simply Earth for a couple of months, now, so I can’t really claim to be an expert. However, I like to know a little something about a company before I buy. Especially if the products I’m buying can affect my health, which in the case of essential oils, they can.
So, I did some digging to find out a little more about the company. It turns out, Simply Earth is a small, family owned company. When you look around their website, you’ll see so many fun, personal touches, like videos and personal photos.
Their motto is “Make Your Home Toxin Free With Essential Oils,” and it’s clear that that is where their focus lies. They seem to focus primarily on DIYs and recipes you can make with their oils, and even have a subscription box geared towards that as well!
My Thoughts on Simply Earth Essential Oils
I’m not going to lie. As much as I love a good DIY, the companies focus on that aspect kind of put me off at first. I assumed there would be less focus on the essential oils, and more focus on crafting and making fun things.
And, don’t get me wrong. The DIYs are fun, and I really love them! But the more I’ve learned about Simply Earth, the more I’ve realized how much purity matters to them.
Simply Earth Quality
Simply Earth sources their oils from all over the world, from small farms where the plants grow best. These are the habitats where each individual plant thrives, and will result in the healthiest crop, which will result in the highest quality oils you can find.
Each batch of oil that comes from these farms is tested for 100% purity before being bottled and sold by the company. But, don’t take my word for it (or theirs!)
When you shop Simply Earth essential oils, you can find the GC/MS tests right there on the product page. That’s right. You can see for yourself that the oils are pure, before you even buy!
You can find out more about their “Simply Pure Promise” right here.

What is the Simply Earth Subscription Box?
This is where it really gets fun! So, while Simply Earth does have individual oils you can purchase, as well as blends and other products, their big focus is on the monthly box.
The subscription box is a fun, easy to use recipe box that gets delivered every month in the mail.
Here’s what comes in it:
- 4 15ml bottles of 100% pure essential oils (either singles or blends)
- 6 recipe cards that utilize these oils
- Any ingredients & supplies you might need for these recipes
Each month has it’s own theme that the recipes and oils are based on, so you’ll always have something new to try. If you like DIYing with oils, it’s really a great value. You get to try lots of new recipes over time, and you’ll build your essential oil stash each month.
Not only is the box itself a great value, but if you subscribe for the first time using the code ANGIECRUISEFREE, you’ll get a free bonus box plus a $40 gift card with your first monthly box!
The bonus box is kind of like a starter box. It comes with some supplies that make DIYing even better, like extra roller bottles, various carrier oils, and some other stuff that’ll come in handy over time.
To help you get a feel for the subscription box and big bonus box, here are some pictures from mine:
Simply Earth Review: My Thoughts & Opinions
Final thoughts? I’m really pleased with what I’ve seen from Simply Earth. Their subscription box is a great value, at only $39. I mean, I used to easily pay that much for one bottle of oil, and can’t tell a difference at all in the quality! Plus, the recipes are super fun and make DIYing a breeze, which really makes the whole process of going natural less stressful!
